Inside the Pages of Polymorph: A Conversation with Founder Max Meyers
Every so often, a magazine comes along that refuses to sit still. Polymorph Magazine is one of them — reinventing itself with each issue, training its lens on an entirely new subject and letting that theme dictate the voice, the visuals, and the artists it chooses to feature. I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with the publication’s founder, Max Meyers, to talk about the vision behind it.
What emerged was a conversation as colorful and layered as the magazine itself. Meyers has built Polymorph around a simple but ambitious idea: rather than settling into a fixed beat, each issue goes deep on a single subject, unpacking it through intelligent, probing interviews with the artists shaping it. The result is a format that feels less like a recurring publication and more like a series of standalone explorations — each one built to surprise.
Below, you can watch the full video interview, along with a selection of covers pulled from previous issues of Polymorph — glimpses of the unique artists and work the magazine has spent its issues uncovering.
A small technical note: an online latency issue caused a brief pause in one part of this video. We apologize for the interruption — but don’t let it distract you, because the interview itself is outstanding.”
