In today’s entertainment landscape, traditional traveling circuses have become increasingly rare treasures. Among the handful of shows still bringing the magic of the big top across America, Flip Circus stands out as a dazzling celebration of this timeless art form.
I recently had the privilege of photographing this extraordinary spectacle, where seasoned circus professionals share the spotlight with emerging performers honing their craft. The result is a captivating blend of time-honored tradition and fresh energy that truly embodies the spirit of circus arts.
The logistics alone are impressive—the meticulous tent setup, the coordinated movement of cast and crew from town to town, and the creation of a complete circus experience in each new location.
