A truly magical Monday unfolded at The Cutting Room, where the Summer Spectaclar 2 Edition of Monday Night Magic treated a lucky house to an evening of wonder and sleight of hand.
Hosted by the charming and witty David Corsaro.

The Opening Act was the talented duo ‘Episode One‘, featuring a quick-change act with Vladimir and Evgenia — they changed costumes faster than the eye could follow. 🎭✨ Having performed in over 20 countries, they’ve built a style all their own, blending circus, dance, and Adagio artistry into transformations that happen in the blink of an eye.

A most unusual and unique performer — Lionel Dellberg, visiting us from Switzerland- took the stage with a collection of illusions that left both me and the audience genuinely baffled. In one moment, a Rubik’s Cube resolved itself into a perfect solve with barely a visible effort. In another, Lionel asked an audience member to call out a number — which then turned out to be the hidden answer buried among rows of figures he’d already written on a whiteboard. It was a striking reminder of just how ingenious his approach to magic really is.

His real finale was the illusion that fooled Penn & Teller on national TV. He pours a glass of milk from an ordinary Swiss milk carton… then juice for a front row guest… then a Sprite for another. Then, with a wink, he admits his own love of good old-fashioned milk and pours himself a glass — all from that SAME carton. As if that’s not enough, he rips the carton apart in front of everyone to prove there’s no trick container involved. Just skill. Just magic.

The Wild West is the place that Chris McDaniel learned his trade. The rope and bullwhip ‘cracking’ act is infamous from the days of Will Rogers and Chris keeps the tradition alive with his wonderful personality and gifted skills.

Silent, mysterious, mesmerizing — Rocco was the evening’s featured act, captivating the audience from his very first move. Working without a word, he manipulated objects with an uncanny precision that drew applause after every gesture. A multiple award-winning magician, Rocco held the room in his hand through one feat after another, proof that silence can be its own kind of showmanship.

The evening proved rewarding for all in attendance. It opened with a roster of accomplished magicians circulating table-side, performing manipulation and sleight-of-hand for guests throughout the room — an ideal prelude to the stage show that followed.
The ‘wandering magicians’ included: Michael Patrick, Michael Chaut, Emma Olson, Harrison Kramer, Eric Q, Kevin Rhodehouse, Kevin Nicholas, Carl Mercurio, Ryan Kane, Mike Malone, and Jack Philips.
