Vaudevisuals interview with mentalist Eric Walton

Eric Walton is a very accomplished and professional performer. I saw him first at Dixon Place performing in the Bindlestiff Open Stage Variety Revue. His act was ‘amazing’.

I always am fascinated by great magicians/mentalist so I contacted Eric to find out more about his work and early inspirations. Here is a peek into his upcoming show and early days of learning magic.

Vaudevisuals Interview with Hilary Chaplain – “A Life in Her Day” @ United Solo Festival, NYC

Hilary Chaplain talks about her upcoming show being presented at the UNITED SOLO FESTIVAL in NYC.

"Unconventional and outrageously funny, this award-winning day in a life is a wonderful mix of physical comedy, clown, and serious theatre. “A Lucy Ricardo – Little Tramp hybrid” (TimeOut NY), this quirky physical comedienne exposes her most intimate moments while chasing the elusive promises of happily ever after. Done with pathos and humor. “It’s beautifully funny, sad, and very human.” Charlestown Press.
Director: Avner Eisenberg.
Accompanist: Kevin Schmidt.

Bill Bowers is a mime!

Bill Bowers performs as a mime.

He teaches mime and writes shows that are mime shows and some that use mime.

His work has been reviewed by the NYTimes:

“When he ventures into darker territory, this one-man show comes alive.”

“deeply moving and displays Mr. Bowers at his best in both word and action.”

It was very nice to meet and interview Bill at one of his classes to NYU today. He talks about his life, work and upcoming show.
