Wondering what you will do tomorrow?

Thom Wall is here to tell you what it is and HOW to do it!

JUGGLING – WHAT IT IS AND HOW TO DO IT! by Thom Wall

“I realized that there was no resource that taught contemporary juggling techniques,” Wall says.

“The books that were already available focused on “this old style of juggling performance or juggling training, where you just throw the throw, it does this and then it just works,” he says. “Whereas juggling pedagogy in the past 30 years has completely changed.”

Kali von Wunderkammer announced the awards.
The Monsters of Schlock duo took the evening into a whole different mood!
Using syringes and water. Don’t do this at home. They are highly trained professionals.

Thom Wall performed some classic skills (beautifully) from the juggling world.

Sam Aquatic performed contortion with her snake.

Reggie Bügmüncher was the emcee and also performed the classic sideshow ‘eyehooks’ act

Lifting a full fishbowl with goldfish using her eyes and fishing hooks with a pearl chain.

The final act of the night was knife throwing and whip cracking Jack Dagger.

There was a wonderful comic part of the act that involved an audience member.

Vaudevisuals Bookshelf – “Juggling – From Antiquity to the Middle Ages”

“Juggling – From Antiquity to the Middle Ages” – the forgotten history of throwing and catching

by Thom Wall

This is a very comprehensive book on juggling. Written with humor and great research. Here is a quote from the book!

The book sites a historical time line along with my illustrations and photographs. This is one/half of the chart published in the book. Don’t want to give away too much!

Great read for jugglers and fans of juggling alike!

Thom Wall sets the standard for future work by circademics… I predict that [this] book will become the textbook on juggling history. – Richard Kennison, CircusTalk

Juggling: From Antiquity to the Middle Ages is an incredible resource to anyone interested in the history of juggling. Thom Wall has filled in many gaps to the documented history of the art. This is the juggling history book that I’ve been waiting for. – David Cain, Curator, Museum of Juggling History

Here is an interview I did with Thom recently.
