‘Silent Fantasies’ – A Clown show with Mark Stolzenberg and Vivian Belmont

This is a flyer created for the clown show “Silent Fantasies”. Created and performed by Mark Stolzenberg and Vivian Belmont.

The show had a good promo. Vivian Belmont billed herself as “a mime from France” and Mark Stolzenberg billed himself as “a clown from Brooklyn”.

I did the photograph in a studio on a cyclorama. The background was entirely white, so it was easy to use as a ‘graphic’.

Hudson Street Studio Variety Show – Scene One – 01/03/1979

In the late 1970’s I produced a series of ‘variety shows’ based on performers that had passed thru my studio on Hudson Street.

The show titled “The Hudson Street Studio Variety Show”

The performers were Jeff Sheridan, Mark Stolzenberg, David Strassman, and Paul Zaloom.

It was performed in a small club of Hudson St. in the Village. Called ‘Scene One’.

This was the precursor to The New York Variety Theatre which was created out of this series of shows.

Here is the poster for the show.

Here is a review from SHOW BUSINESS magazine on Jan. 11th. 1979.
