Vaudevisuals Interview with Summer Shapiro – “Kinds of Light”

One afternoon last week I interviewed Summer Shapiro. She was smiling and happy talking about her new performance project “Kinds of Light”. After 2 years of absense from the  project she is working diligently on it for a May 2nd showing at the Flint and Tinder Series at The Tank in NYC.

On Sunday, May 19th from 1pm to 6pm Summer will teach a workshop titled ACCESSING THE DEVISER: A on-your-tippy-toes workshop in creating from play. The curriculum will focus on a variety of performance and devising elements, a few being: how to structure your play, dynamism, story structure, physical comedy techniques and authencity.
