Flashback – ‘Bouffon Glass Menajoree” at The Brick

Directed by Eric Davis. Here is what he had to say about the show.

“Grotesque in nature, often physically deformed, the bouffon is the outcast shunned by society and told to live outside of the village. On rare occasions, they are asked to perform for the pleasure of those who previously persecuted them. On these occasions the bouffons willingly accept. (What choice do they have? Perform or be killed!) Thus, these hideous creatures enter the circle of society once more, light on their feet, eternally smiling with hateful eyes. Charming, entertaining and smart, they plan to take the piss out of you all!”Screen Shot 2016-01-29 at 2.01.11 AM

Amanda (Aimee German)  is quite the character in this play. In more ways than one!

TOM (Lynn Berg) is great in this wonderful farce take off of the Tennessee William’s play.

Laura (Audrey Crabtree) is looking for someone to marry. Would you like to make an offer?

All the characters are wild and wonderful in this rendition of the play.

Aimee German has lots of secrets that you discover in the play.

TOM (Lynn Berg)leans on the wall while talking to the audience.

Laura and Tom have some family fun. Not out of limits in this play.

Laura (Audrey Crabtree) winds her music box and looks at Tom.

Amanda, Tom and Laura in a nice family moment.

Laura (Audrey Crabtree) and Tom (Lynn Berg) descent into the kitchen table where they came from.

The story line is a roller coaster of fun and visual delight. I can only say that you should see it to believe it!

‘Curtain call’ shot with the innocent audience member James who was called up to marry Laura.
