Last night was pure magic reconnecting with my downtown NYC family at the opening of this incredible tribute to performance art pioneer Tom Murrin!

The exhibit beautifully captures Tom’s genius – those unforgettable masks and costumes crafted from street finds, his lightning-quick transformations, and politically sharp, hilarious monologues that defined Lower East Side performance art.

Proud to have my 1989 Dixon Place photograph and video interview featured among the amazing collection of artifacts, videos and photos spanning Tom’s revolutionary career.

The highlight? Salley May‘s dazzling pyro-performance honoring Tom’s enduring legacy!
