CABIN – A Physical Comedy Adventure
I’ve long enjoyed documenting the work of Jeff Seal and Chris Manley, so I was thrilled to photograph their latest collaboration with the addition of talented newcomer Tillie Medel. Their new piece, CABIN, takes the childhood ritual of camping out in the woods and transforms it into a brilliantly absurd comedic journey.
This trio of physical comedians—each master of both verbal wit and bodily expression—created a hysterical romp through the imagined perils and pleasures of the great indoors masquerading as the great outdoors. The “sleepover” premise became a launching pad for inventive chaos.
These photographs capture the energy, timing, and sheer physicality that made CABIN such a delightful theatrical experience.
The 2026 Edition of @PhysFestNYC was presented at the Stella Adler School of Drama in New York City.
