‘Vaudeville on the Rocks’ ROCKED Freddy’s Bar!

Freddy’s, that dive on Fifth in South Slope, was the circus ring for another round of ‘Vaudeville on the Rocks.’ Produced by the dynamic duo of Alaska the Lost Boy and Obsidian Absurd, this monthly madness is like a clown car crash of entertainment. Last Thursday, those MCs and their cohorts, Jellyboy the Clown and Nati Amos the Patch Work Girl, hurled a barrage of banana peels and pie-in-the-face humor at the unsuspecting crowd. And let me tell ya, the suckers loved it! Here’s a peek at the chaos…

Cyclone Jack made a brief but humorous ‘public announcement’ before the show.

Producer/performers Obsidian Absurd and Alaska the Lost Boy show off their newly created ‘personality’ dolls.

Nati Amos, the Patch Work Girl, performed a wonderful improv in the space using only a chair and her delightful personality.

Alaska prepares the audience for her performance by being a little coy and charming.

Jellyboy the Clown performs a series of vignettes in his own inimitable style.

Obsidian Absurd cast a spell on the audience with her mesmerizing talent and undeniable charisma.

Vaudeville on the Rocks‘ is a monthly Thursday night throwdown at Freddy’s! Check their calendar for deets.
